What's New at Barsha?

Updated: Aug 6, 2019

What are Some New Barsha Goodies You Can Find Around the Shop?

Barsha is always looking for new additions to the store - if you know of any brands that you think we should carry, let us know! Stop by the store or shoot us an email contact@barshalife.com to let us know what you'd like to see.

Here are some new additions to Barsha from the past week:

  • Pinotage is South Africa’s signature red grape, a cross of Pinot Noir and Cinsault created nearly a century ago.  Remhoogte’s Vantage Pinotage is savory and deep, almost syrah-like with some characteristics of the northern Rhone. Absolutely delicious, it improves over a night or two, so give it time to open up and strut its stuff. Alcohol by volume: 14 percent. Serve this slightly chilled, and you will be the hero of your next backyard barbecue—this is the most refreshing red wine ever, and the perfect antidote to long summer days and the heat of the grill.

  • Glou Glou has intense berry notes that perfectly complement the char of a burger or perfectly cooked pizza crust, and enough acid to stand up to your favorite tomato sauce. Pizza, burgers, and wine are, after all, the Las Jaras holy trinity. (If more people subscribed to our religion, would there be world peace?)

  • Mash Bill With a Hint of Corn -- APPEARANCE: Crystal Clear, NOSE: Hint of corn, PALATE: Dry, sweet corn with comforting warmth, FINISH: Crisp, clean with impressive staying power, AGED: Non-aged, INGREDIENTS: Corn

  • This is our core collection of four malt whiskies we bottle year-round. They comprise the spectrum of malt whisky styles you find in Scotland, each with their own distinctiveness and story.

  • Artist Spotlight Phyllis Ferrara -- Phyllis Ferrara is an abstract artist with an eclectic portfolio of acrylic paintings, which combines plein air, fauvism and impressionist techniques.
